For Your Business

Something needs to change and perhaps you need help to define the challenge or maybe you’ve done that already? Either way, I’m here to help you to finalise the brief. Once we’ve scoped our objectives and created a plan, let’s agree how we’ll work together and measure success.

What I do:

I deliver a great customer experience and put your business at the centre of everything I do. Whether you need to redefine HR or want help to attract, select and hold on to the talented people your business needs I can help. Mine is not a “one size fits all” approach or solution. There’s no magic formula, just great communication. Here are just some of the activities and solutions I’ve delivered, although with 20+ years experience in consulting, there’s a lot more we could explore.

How I do it:

I’m influential and courageous.  I bring expertise, ideas and curiosity.  I simplify complexity and inspire creativity.  I give pragmatic advice.  I coach the team to succeed and leave behind a legacy of learning. I’ve included some case studies to demonstrate the depth and breadth of my diverse portfolio, although these are just a few of many.

How you benefit:

I lead your transformation agenda and I get things done. I partner with you and engage your stakeholders as well as your teams. Together we collaborate to deliver the best possible solution for your business.

Shared understanding:

We’ll not need a dictionary as I like to keep things simple.  I favour an easy communication and writing style, although it’s essential that we create a common language if we’re to succeed. It’s often a good idea to begin with some definitions:

  • For me, recruitment sits under the resourcing umbrella.

  • I love the word talent – it’s so positive although I’m not a fan of the term acquisition (it implies possession or ownership).

  • Resourcing is about how your business needs to attract and retain (or release) talented people (and supply partners) to deliver its business purpose

  • Recruitment is an integral part of your resourcing strategy – it’s about attracting and securing talent for your business (including the process of matching people with work).

  • For me, securing talent for your business goes way beyond the first day.

  • It’s sometimes helpful to think about recruitment as the process of creating interest, influencing your audience and filling vacancies.

  • Resourcing has a broader focus on how work gets done e.g. outsourced services, consultancy and interim solutions.
